We were very shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Mike Tattersall on 10th October 2011.

Mike died in a canoeing accident in the Firth of Forth.  He was a regular visitor to Wiston Lodge, working with Craig Ross’s ‘Inside Out’.  We remember a bright, cheerful, gifted young man and we will miss him. All of us who went to his funeral, were given a wee packet in his memory containing some sunflower seeds – so next spring we plan a sunflower planting in his memory; we may go for 11th May 2012, as this would have been Mike’s 30th birthday; and this is a good time to plant sunflower seeds at Wiston Lodge.
