This was a residential trip for around 45 pupils from Morrison's Academy, a school based in Crieff.
It was designed as an orientation event for their S6 pupils at the start of their year to work with each other and their tutors. Team building was therefore an important high priority of the trip and its agenda, as was the development of leadership ability. The team working course used activities that focused on trust, communication skills and emphasis on leadership skills with peers and school staff whilst also being great fun and challenging. They were a delightful group of young adults to have staying with Wiston Lodge and we look forward to welcoming other pupils from the academy in the future. See the card they made and sent to us, it’s lovely. Also they sent in a letter of thanks from which I can quote:
“I write to convey my sincere thanks for all of your efforts in making our recent stay at Wiston Lodge so enjoyable and effective. The feedback from our pupils and staff was overwhelmingly positive.”
“I attach the feedback forms and wish to convey again my thanks to all your staff, whose kindness, helpfulness and professionalism made our stay so memorable.”
